Hello! it’s so good to have you on my blog. I’m gonna skip the formalities and move straight to the point. I want to believe, you already know what PayPal is all about, at least that is one reason why you opened and are reading this post. Hence, I’m also going to skip all those long speeches about PayPal. However, if you really want to find out what PayPal is all about, you may likely hit <a href="https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/about" rel="nofollow" style="border: 0px; color: #e64946; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-stretch: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant: inherit; font-weight: inherit; line-height: inherit; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">CLICK HERE</a> to find out.<br />

It is no longer news that PayPal does not accept Nigerians. This restriction by Paypal was necessitated some years back when some Nigerians used the payment platform to defraud many foreign buyers on Ebay.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
<a href="http://www.newsdoggen.org/2015/09/how-to-add-paypal-buy-now-on-your-blog.html" rel="nofollow"><span style="color: blue;">Also Read: How to add PayPal Buy Now to your Business website</span></a></div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
However, Nigerian PayPal users can only send funds and make online payments. PayPal does not allow Nigerians to receive or withdraw funds.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
Thus, I’m going to put you through the two methods I’ve tested and used in opening my own PayPal accounts. The one I use in receiving payments online and to also send money online (PayPal full service).</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
I’m going to guide you through the processes involved on how to open PayPal account in Nigeria for just online shopping or to send payment for the online merchant. Now let me start with PayPal account for receiving and withdrawing funds, the trick I will be revealing here will be of help to you.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
Since Paypal is not available to Nigerians, sending and receiving payment for online transactions have been so difficult for those who have legitimate reasons to use the payment system. And from all indications, Paypal isn’t ready to reverse this restriction anytime soon.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
</div>
<h2 style="text-align: left;">
<b style="border: 0px; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-stretch: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant: inherit; line-height: inherit; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">Why Use PayPal?</b></h2>
There are possible lots of reasons why you should use PayPal for your transactions. When you use PayPal. your personal data and information are safe. when opening a PayPal account. you would be asked for your credit card details which you have to provide for verification. PayPal keeps such details very safe. Also, the flexibility and convenience of sending money are hassle free and transfers are done instantly.<br />
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
However, find below the first method;</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
If you have friends or relative in South Africa, China, and other PayPal operating Country, don’t use USA, UK, or Canada because u will be asked to link up your bank account with the PayPal account before u can be verified.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
That is the reason why you will avoid using USA, UK or Canada. Now, if you have friends or relative in those country listed above, you can contact them to send you their home address in full including the country zip code.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
Another means of getting the foreign address is to purchase foreign Home address online. You can use Google search to get one for yourself for free or with little money.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
Now that you have your address ready for use, another thing you need is VPN. VPN is a tool or an application you can use to root your IP address on the internet so that no one will be able to discover your location. VPN will hide your Nigerian IP address, to any country of your choice.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
This is very important because you don’t want PayPal to discover your location. You can get either a paid VPN or a free VPN. Whichever way, they are both good. You can make a google search for free VPN software for PC (e.g Zenmate) or any VPN app for android phones (e.g FlashVPN). If these are ready, you are also ready to go. You are now set to open your PayPal account, follow these simple steps below:</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
Power your PC with the internet. Lunch your VPN. Ensure it's connected and running Goto <a href="http://www.paypal.com/" rel="nofollow" style="border: 0px; color: #e64946; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-stretch: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant: inherit; font-weight: inherit; line-height: inherit; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">PayPal</a> it will take you to PayPal webpage, then click on sign up to start creating your account. Fill all the required field, your name, your email address, your location, your home address( use your foreign home address). Now that you have filled all required field, click on sign up. Then a link will be sent to your email address for confirmation. Click on the link to confirm your email.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
You can now go back to <a href="http://www.paypal.com/" rel="nofollow" style="border: 0px; color: #e64946; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-stretch: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant: inherit; font-weight: inherit; line-height: inherit; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">PayPal</a> key in your login details to access your account. Now your account is ready, but you still have one more thing to do. You will need to verify your account before you can start making use of it</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
</div>

<h2 style="text-align: left;">
<b style="border: 0px; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-stretch: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant: inherit; line-height: inherit; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">How to verify your PayPal account in Nigeria.</b></h2>

Log in to your account, at the right side corner. Remember to use your VPN all through. You will see VERIFY account, your account can only be verified by linking your credit card to your PayPal account. To do that you will need a credit card, master or visa card.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
Remember you are not opening Nigerian PayPal, so you can not verify this account with Nigeria credit card. So this account can only be verified using a dollar credit card.</div>

<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
After you fill in this information above, then click on verify.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">

<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
That is all! Now your account is fully ready for operation.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
You can start receiving money from your survey companies, your affiliate companies, and others.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
Remember to always operate your PayPal account using the VPN so that your account will not be limited when the location you are operating the account from is different.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
Again, always avoid login into your account all the time. It's a good practice to monitor your account from your email address since every transaction that takes place in your PayPal account will always communicate via your<br />
email.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
Although, there are still some few alternatives to PayPal which I will highlight below, some of which include but not limited to the following:</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
<b style="border: 0px; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-stretch: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant: inherit; line-height: inherit; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">1. Western Union Money Transfer:</b><br />
With this method, you can receive payment from anywhere in the world. If you’re a freelancer, this may be a good option for you — provided you have clients that are understanding.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
Note that you must have a valid government-issued ID card (such as an international passport, national identity card, or drivers’ license) before you can receive payments.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
Although this payment method is very speedy, it may not be suitable for very small payments due to the transfer and transaction charges.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
<b style="border: 0px; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-stretch: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant: inherit; line-height: inherit; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">2. Bank Wire transfer:</b><br />
This method of payment is very simple. your funds are transferred from the sender’s bank account to your own bank account here in Nigeria. Once again, you’ll need a domiciliary account for you to receive payment through this method or into your Naira bank account, but the convention will be dining by your bank and may attract. little fee.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
Though speedy as it may seem, this payment method is not instant. You may have to wait for days to a few weeks before receiving your funds. But the option is suitable for almost everyone in online business.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
<b style="border: 0px; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-stretch: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant: inherit; line-height: inherit; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">3. Payoneer Mastercard</b><br />
This is the coolest option for Nigerians (in my own opinion).</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
With the Payoneer debit MasterCard, you can receive payment from freelance job sites, affiliate networks, individuals, and companies.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
To get your Payoneer debit card, you have two options:<br />
If you’re going into online freelance business (writing, web design, programming, SEO, graphics design, virtual assistance, translation, etc.) or affiliate marketing, you can request the card through the freelance outsourcing site or affiliate network you want to work with. Elance, Odesk, Freelancer, Markethealth, and Fiverr are examples of Payoneer partners through which you can request your own card.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
Secondly, you can visit <a href="http://www.payoneer.com/" rel="nofollow" style="border: 0px; color: #e64946; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-stretch: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant: inherit; font-weight: inherit; line-height: inherit; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;" target="_blank">Payoneer’s website</a> to request the card directly.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
After your request has been confirmed by the Payoneer support, you’ll be sent an email informing you of the shipment as well as the expected delivery date.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
<em style="border: 0px; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-stretch: inherit; font-variant: inherit; font-weight: inherit; line-height: inherit; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;"><b style="border: 0px; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-stretch: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant: inherit; line-height: inherit; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">Note:</b> Payoneer does not deliver to mailboxes. Only residential addresses are allowed. So, use a valid residential address that can be traced easily. If your card gets lost in transit, you may be asked to pay $50 (about N7500) before another card is sent to you.</em></div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
The Payoneer card allows you to receive direct payment from freelance sites and affiliate networks.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
Also, individuals can load funds directly to your card from another credit/debit card. Once you have the funds on your card, you’ll get an email notification from Payoneer, and you can withdraw your funds instantly from any ATM .</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">
<b style="border: 0px; font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit; font-stretch: inherit; font-style: inherit; font-variant: inherit; line-height: inherit; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">4. 2Checkout:</b><br />

<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">

Once your account is approved, you can set up the payment button on your page.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">

<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-stretch: inherit; line-height: 22.4px; margin-bottom: 1.25rem; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">

Windows app, BlueStacks can run popular games and apps such as Candy Crush Saga
and WhatsApp Messenger while you work in Microsoft Office in another window. It's
no doubt one of the most popular Android emulators. Poor performance, buggy
features and an annoying interface also hold BlueStacks back.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

requires 2GB of RAM and 9GB of disk space. During the process, BlueStacks tells
you it runs best with App Store Access and Application Communications enabled. You
can uncheck those options.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: 15.0pt; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 7.5pt; vertical-align: baseline;">

Play or Amazon Appstore (which comes installed by default, along with 1Mobile
Market, BlueStacks Charts, Facebook, GamePop, Swift HD Camera and Twitter). It
does take a while (about 15 to 20 minutes) for the program to initialize for
the first time. While you wait, BlueStacks  showcases the kinds of apps this program was
mainly developed for: games.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

other Android emulators, you're presented with rows of apps, most of them
games, except for those in the "media and messenger" category.
Although BlueStack is technically an Android emulator and runs Android 4.4.2
KitKat. It works more like a simple Android app launcher. Instead of getting
the full Android user interface, you get a customized Windows app that runs
Android programs in either full screen or a fixed-size window.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: 15.0pt; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 7.5pt; vertical-align: baseline;">

on the home screen or to remove any of the thumbnails. Every time you start
BlueStacks you'll see these suggested apps, even if you have no interest in
ever playing Dumb Run or the Fright Night at Freddy's 3 demo.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: 15.0pt; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 7.5pt; vertical-align: baseline;">

number of recommended apps, rather than all of the Android apps in that
category you could download. To install an app that isn't on one of these
screens, you have to search for it by name and then click through to the search
results in Google Play. Otherwise, there's no direct link to Google Play for
browsing apps.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: 15.0pt; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 7.5pt; vertical-align: baseline;">

a bit too much like a pushy salesperson peddling Android games.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

full-screen mode instead of windowed, it really feels like you're on an Android
tablet, complete with support for multi-touch (if you have a touch-screen
tablet PC) and sensors integration (so you can do things like tilt to move in a
game).<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: 15.0pt; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 7.5pt; vertical-align: baseline;">

non-touch-screen computer owner in mind. The keyboard icon in the bottom menu
bar lets you map tablet controls like swiping, tilting, zooming and tapping to
keys of your choosing.<o:p></o:p></span><br />

<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: 15.0pt; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 7.5pt; vertical-align: baseline;">

everywhere or very well. I couldn't zoom in on Google Earth using my mapped
keys, for example, and in Temple Run, the key mappings were reversed.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: 15.0pt; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 7.5pt; vertical-align: baseline;">

portrait apps to run (auto-rotate, always run in portrait mode or force to run
in landscape mode), changing that setting did nothing for me. Imagine trying to
play Temple Run with the screen rotated and the swipe-left key making you jump
instead of go left!<o:p></o:p></span></div>

</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: 15.0pt; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 7.5pt; vertical-align: baseline;">

playing games fairly well. Most games I tried -- including Clash of Clans,
Dragon Blaze and Asphalt 8 -- ran without a hitch and looked fantastic.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: 15.0pt; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 7.5pt; vertical-align: baseline;">
<span lang="EN-US" style="color: #494949; font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: NO-BOK;"> Apps also took a miserably long
time to load. For example, Instagram and Castle TD took 33 and 45 seconds,
respectively, to load in BlueStacks, but just 4 and 11 seconds on a Nexus 5
phone.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: 15.0pt; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 7.5pt; vertical-align: baseline;">

<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: 15.0pt; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 7.5pt; vertical-align: baseline;">
<span lang="EN-US" style="color: #494949; font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: NO-BOK;">BlueStacks ran WhatsApp fine -- I could make and receive calls through
my laptop's microphone -- but the emulator struggled at times with things such
as processing photos in Instagram and even opening the inbox in Gmail.
Rendering in Google Earth was also painfully laggy, but that's to be expected
given Google Earth's high performance demands. Apps that are meant to use your
location, such as Google Earth, Google Maps and the game Ingress, also failed
at finding my location, so you'll need to use an app that emulates a GPS to
trick other apps into finding your location.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: 15.0pt; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 7.5pt; vertical-align: baseline;">
<span lang="EN-US" style="color: #494949; font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: NO-BOK;">As with all virtualization tools, performance will be limited by your
computer's memory and CPU. BlueStacks ran best when I had no other program open
on my old laptop. Just for kicks, I also tried BlueStacks on a newer Surface
Pro (Intel Core i5 Haswell processor and 8 GB of RAM). Performance was
noticeably better, but I still saw many of the glitches mentioned above.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: 15.0pt; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 7.5pt; vertical-align: baseline;">
<span lang="EN-US" style="color: #494949; font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: NO-BOK;">Android benchmarking tool AnTuTu, however, says BlueStacks' general
performance is rather high, surpassing 95 percent of other devices, while its
game performance is better than 60 percent of other devices. As a comparison
point, Geekbench 3 shows BlueStacks as emulating a Samsung Galaxy S4, a
two-year old phone, but one that performs solidly. Yet compared to other
Android emulators, namely AMIDuOS and Andy, BlueStacks' performance was at the
bottom: scoring 26,311 versus Andy's 31,299 and AMIDuOS' 45,611.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: 15.0pt; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 7.5pt; vertical-align: baseline;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: 15.0pt; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 7.5pt; vertical-align: baseline;">

BlueStacks. In fact, the company claims BlueStacks is compatible with 86
percent of Android games and 96 percent of all Android apps, a higher
compatibility rating than that of competitors YouWave, Genymotion and Andy.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: 15.0pt; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 7.5pt; vertical-align: baseline;">

between your phone and the Windows app via a cloud connect app, moving files
between Windows and BlueStacks via a shared folder, and sideloading apps by
double-clicking an APK file from your desktop. The cloud connect app didn't
seem to work. It's supposed to push apps from your phone to BlueStacks on your
PC and also sync the settings over, but I found no changes in either my phones'
apps or BlueStacks' apps after initiating a sync, unfortunately. Sideloading
apps worked like a charm on the other hand, and that feature works great when
you want to test out an app that's not available yet on Google Play. (I used it
to try out a new Dropbox feature in beta.)<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: 15.0pt; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 7.5pt; vertical-align: baseline;">

games quite well, the software's limitations and performance issues keep me
from recommending this program to anyone but casual Android gamers who aren't
able to run more powerful Android emulators on their PCs. If your system is
fairly new (made in the last couple of years) and has a decent amount of memory
(4 GB of RAM), other emulators will run Android more smoothly and in the full
Android environment. Consider Andy if you want a free option, or AMIDuOS if
you're willing to pay for strong performance. Bluestacks is still the best android emulator.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
