With Barry gone or dead, the STAR Labs team tries to figure out how to get him back. Also, Wally and Jesse deal with the after-effects of getting hit by Barry's mist. Where is Barry and how can he come back from the dead?<br />

Barry isn't Dead</h2>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
Obviously, the titular character of the CW show isn't dead. He's alive, somewhere, and Cisco catches a vibe of Barry, standing within a tornado-like structure. Cisco's powers are getting more and more powerful, especially with help from Harrison Wells' technological advancements. With that, Cisco can actually reach into the other world where Barry is at and communicate and interact with him.<br />
<br />
<h2 style="text-align: left;">
The Speed Force is a Sentient Being</h2>
<br />
Prior to this episode, the Speed Force was just a concept that Barry got his power from. This season has hinted at the fact there's more to the Speed Force than previously thought. Barry finds himself inside the Speed Force in the episode and can communicate with it. The Speed Force takes form as people Barry recognizes and leads him through places familiar to him in order to bring everything in perspective.<br />
Barry Can Go Home Early, Without His Powers<br />
<br />
Cisco reaches through to try and get Barry to come home. At this point, Barry can go home, but if he does so, it's without his powers. Barry chooses to stay in the Speed Force, in order to get his powers back, since he'll need them to defeat Zoom, and trying to get his powers back is how he ended up "dead" in the first place.<br />
<h3 style="text-align: left;">
<br />Girder Returns from the Dead</h3>

<br />
One of Barry's old foes come back as the villain of the week. Stray energy from the accelerator, when the STAR Labs crew were trying to make Barry fast again, somehow put some zombie-like life back into Girder. He's after Iris, and goes on a bit of a rampage in Central City, including beating on a man's mother's car. Said man was played by Kevin Smith's best friend, Jason Mewes (Smith directed this episode). Obviously, it took some of Wells and Cisco's tech, along with The Flash, to bring him down.<br />
<br />
<h3 style="text-align: left;">
Zoom has his on gallery of Rogues</h3>
<br />
The episode leaves viewers with Zoom at Central City Police Department, giving a speech about taking the city. After his speech is finished, we see a sea of metahumans inside the police station. Looks like Zoom has been recruiting everyone he can in order to take over this world.<br />
Once again, The Flash tries to put a bit too much into an episode in order to please every viewer. The reintroduction of Girder was unnecessary, as Barry's story, along with Cisco and company trying to get him back, was more than enough for the episode. Because of the inclusion of that story, it took away some of the emotional impact from moments like Barry talking to his mother (the form of his mother that the Speed Force took). The Girder story did add some action and fun to the episode, picking up the pace a bit, but overall, this episode feels a bit overstuffed.<br />
<br />
The developments with the Speed Force should be considered the biggest moment in the episode, even though it feels like a background piece to everything going on. It's a much more complex concept. It's more like an entity capable of thoughts, feelings, and decision-making. This brings another level to who and what The Flash is.<br />
<br />
Obviously, this episode ends with a bittersweet moment as Zoom has gathered his own group of rogues. It's going to lead to one big battle in the final two episodes of the season, and it seems like Flash will be up against impossible odds. However, when Barry touched Jesse, it seemed like the Speed Force shocked her back to life. Because of what happened in the last episode, fans are all speculating that they'll see both Jesse and Wally as speedsters before the season is over, and that's how they'll beat Zoom.</div>

The bug was originally fixed in the Linux kernel in April 2014, but wasn't flagged as a vulnerability until February 2015 when its security implications were understood and it received the CVE-2015-1805 identifier. Even then, the fix did not get ported to Android, which is based on the Linux kernel.</div>

Rooting refers to the process of removing the security restrictions normally enforced by Android for third-party applications and giving them full control over the device. Rooting is legitimately used by Android enthusiasts to unlock functionality that's not normally available on their devices, but can also be abused by malware.</div>

Because of this, rooting tools are not allowed on the Google Play app store and their installation is detected and blocked locally through Android's built-in Verify Apps scanner.</div>

"Google has confirmed the existence of a publicly available rooting application that abuses this vulnerability on Nexus 5 and Nexus 6 to provide the device user with root privileges," Google said in an emergency <a href="https://source.android.com/security/advisory/2016-03-18.html" style="color: #4d9e99; text-decoration: none;">security advisory</a>.</div>

Google has already shared patches for the flaw with device manufacturers and also published them to the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) for the 3.4, 3.10 and 3.14 versions of the Android kernel. Versions 3.18 and above are not vulnerable.</div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: 15.0pt; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 7.5pt; vertical-align: baseline;">

on the home screen or to remove any of the thumbnails. Every time you start
BlueStacks you'll see these suggested apps, even if you have no interest in
ever playing Dumb Run or the Fright Night at Freddy's 3 demo.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: 15.0pt; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 7.5pt; vertical-align: baseline;">

number of recommended apps, rather than all of the Android apps in that
category you could download. To install an app that isn't on one of these
screens, you have to search for it by name and then click through to the search
results in Google Play. Otherwise, there's no direct link to Google Play for
browsing apps.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: 15.0pt; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 7.5pt; vertical-align: baseline;">

a bit too much like a pushy salesperson peddling Android games.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0cm; mso-outline-level: 3; vertical-align: baseline;">

<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: 15.0pt; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 7.5pt; vertical-align: baseline;">

full-screen mode instead of windowed, it really feels like you're on an Android
tablet, complete with support for multi-touch (if you have a touch-screen
tablet PC) and sensors integration (so you can do things like tilt to move in a
game).<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: 15.0pt; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 7.5pt; vertical-align: baseline;">

non-touch-screen computer owner in mind. The keyboard icon in the bottom menu
bar lets you map tablet controls like swiping, tilting, zooming and tapping to
keys of your choosing.<o:p></o:p></span><br />
<span lang="EN-US" style="color: #494949; font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: NO-BOK;"><br /></span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: 15.0pt; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 7.5pt; vertical-align: baseline;">
<span lang="EN-US" style="color: #494949; font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: NO-BOK;">Unfortunately, the keyboard-mapping feature doesn't seem to work
everywhere or very well. I couldn't zoom in on Google Earth using my mapped
keys, for example, and in Temple Run, the key mappings were reversed.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: 15.0pt; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 7.5pt; vertical-align: baseline;">
<span lang="EN-US" style="color: #494949; font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: NO-BOK;">Similarly, although you're supposed to be able to set how you want
portrait apps to run (auto-rotate, always run in portrait mode or force to run
in landscape mode), changing that setting did nothing for me. Imagine trying to
play Temple Run with the screen rotated and the swipe-left key making you jump
instead of go left!<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: 15.0pt; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 7.5pt; vertical-align: baseline;">

</ul>
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: 15.0pt; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 7.5pt; vertical-align: baseline;">
<span lang="EN-US" style="color: #494949; font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: NO-BOK;">In spite of the issues above, BlueStacks does its intended job of
playing games fairly well. Most games I tried -- including Clash of Clans,
Dragon Blaze and Asphalt 8 -- ran without a hitch and looked fantastic.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: 15.0pt; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 7.5pt; vertical-align: baseline;">
<span lang="EN-US" style="color: #494949; font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: NO-BOK;"> Apps also took a miserably long
time to load. For example, Instagram and Castle TD took 33 and 45 seconds,
respectively, to load in BlueStacks, but just 4 and 11 seconds on a Nexus 5
phone.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: 15.0pt; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 7.5pt; vertical-align: baseline;">

<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: 15.0pt; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 7.5pt; vertical-align: baseline;">
<span lang="EN-US" style="color: #494949; font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: NO-BOK;">BlueStacks ran WhatsApp fine -- I could make and receive calls through
my laptop's microphone -- but the emulator struggled at times with things such
as processing photos in Instagram and even opening the inbox in Gmail.
Rendering in Google Earth was also painfully laggy, but that's to be expected
given Google Earth's high performance demands. Apps that are meant to use your
location, such as Google Earth, Google Maps and the game Ingress, also failed
at finding my location, so you'll need to use an app that emulates a GPS to
trick other apps into finding your location.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: 15.0pt; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 7.5pt; vertical-align: baseline;">
<span lang="EN-US" style="color: #494949; font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: NO-BOK;">As with all virtualization tools, performance will be limited by your
computer's memory and CPU. BlueStacks ran best when I had no other program open
on my old laptop. Just for kicks, I also tried BlueStacks on a newer Surface
Pro (Intel Core i5 Haswell processor and 8 GB of RAM). Performance was
noticeably better, but I still saw many of the glitches mentioned above.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: 15.0pt; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 7.5pt; vertical-align: baseline;">
<span lang="EN-US" style="color: #494949; font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: NO-BOK;">Android benchmarking tool AnTuTu, however, says BlueStacks' general
performance is rather high, surpassing 95 percent of other devices, while its
game performance is better than 60 percent of other devices. As a comparison
point, Geekbench 3 shows BlueStacks as emulating a Samsung Galaxy S4, a
two-year old phone, but one that performs solidly. Yet compared to other
Android emulators, namely AMIDuOS and Andy, BlueStacks' performance was at the
bottom: scoring 26,311 versus Andy's 31,299 and AMIDuOS' 45,611.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: 15.0pt; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 7.5pt; vertical-align: baseline;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: 15.0pt; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 7.5pt; vertical-align: baseline;">
<span lang="EN-US" style="color: #494949; font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: NO-BOK;">That said, most apps that could run in KitKat should be able to run in
BlueStacks. In fact, the company claims BlueStacks is compatible with 86
percent of Android games and 96 percent of all Android apps, a higher
compatibility rating than that of competitors YouWave, Genymotion and Andy.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: 15.0pt; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 7.5pt; vertical-align: baseline;">

between your phone and the Windows app via a cloud connect app, moving files
between Windows and BlueStacks via a shared folder, and sideloading apps by
double-clicking an APK file from your desktop. The cloud connect app didn't
seem to work. It's supposed to push apps from your phone to BlueStacks on your
PC and also sync the settings over, but I found no changes in either my phones'
apps or BlueStacks' apps after initiating a sync, unfortunately. Sideloading
apps worked like a charm on the other hand, and that feature works great when
you want to test out an app that's not available yet on Google Play. (I used it
to try out a new Dropbox feature in beta.)<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin-bottom: 0cm; mso-outline-level: 3; vertical-align: baseline;">

<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 18.75pt; margin-bottom: 15.0pt; margin-left: 0cm; margin-right: 0cm; margin-top: 7.5pt; vertical-align: baseline;">
<span lang="EN-US" style="color: #494949; font-family: "arial" , "sans-serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-language: NO-BOK;">In the end, I found BlueStacks to be buggy. Although it can play many
games quite well, the software's limitations and performance issues keep me
from recommending this program to anyone but casual Android gamers who aren't
able to run more powerful Android emulators on their PCs. If your system is
fairly new (made in the last couple of years) and has a decent amount of memory
(4 GB of RAM), other emulators will run Android more smoothly and in the full
Android environment. Consider Andy if you want a free option, or AMIDuOS if
you're willing to pay for strong performance. Bluestacks is still the best android emulator.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
